Después de deslumbrar en la alfombra naranja, Miley Cyrus fue captada disfrutando de los Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2010,La actriz de "Hannah Montana" llegó a la ceremonia de premiación acompañada de sus padres, Billy Ray y Tish Cyrus.

Durante el transcurso de la noche, Miss Cyrus terminó perdiendo frente a dos de sus amigas en las dos categorías en que fue nominada.

Para Actriz favorita, Miley fue derrotada por Selena Gómez, mientras que Mejor Solista Femenina, esta vez frente a Taylor Swift.

Metro Station se Separa

Confirmado y pues Tristemente ya no habra mas Metro Station.
Hasta el momento no ha habido pronunciación de los otros integrantes Mason Musso, Anthony Improgo y Blake Healy, pero esto es lo que el hermano de Miley Cyrus escribió en su Twitter.

"Estaré lanzando mis propias canciones muy pronto. Con un nuevo nombre de grupo. Estoy emocionado por este nuevo camino en mi vida, pero es triste decir adiós a MS".

"¡Gracias a todos los fans que han apoyado a MS y a mí. Ustedes han cambiado mi vida. Prometo que siempre seguiré haciendo música."

Lady Gaga termina con su gran misterio

¿Se acuerdan de ESE video de Lady Gaga? ¿Aquel en el que una cámara la tomaba desde abajo mientras cantaba sobre el escenario... y muchos creyeron ver un pequeño apéndice asomándose bajo su falda? ¿Un apéndice que muchos confundieron con un miembro masculino? ¿Nos siguen?

Pues bien: hasta el momento, la diva había guardado silencio sobre los rumores. ¿Es hombre? ¿Es mujer? ¿Es las dos cosas? Durante semanas, en Internet no se habló de otra cosa. Pero ahora, Gaga decidió hacer declaraciones sobre el mito y reafirmar su femeneidad de una vez y para siempre.

Para ello, protagonizó una sensual producción fotográfica para el último número de la revista británica Q, en la que podemos contemplarla en todo su esplendor de mujer. Tras ver las fotos, el veredicto es contundente: Gaga es toda una Lady.

Avril Lavigne viaja al país de la maravillas

Faltan pocos días para la salida de "Almost Alice", la banda sonora de la nueva película de Tim Burton, "Alice in Wonderland".

Hace poco, justamente, comenzó a rotar su primer single: "Alice". El tema fue compuesto por Avril Lavigne especialmente para el film. Y su respectivo clip entra enseguida en sintonía con la legendaria historia de Lewis Carroll (Avril hace de Alicia).

La cantautora canadiense quiso estar segura de que su canción encajara en la película, y por eso trató de trabajar lo máximo posible con el cineasta. Finalmente declaró que se sintió muy feliz de trabajar con él.

Esto fue lo que dijo: "Fue un absoluto placer. Me pareció que él es muy listo. Hablamos sobre cómo iba a ser la última escena de su película, y de cómo sería la transición entre esa escena y mi canción... Fue una experiencia realmente hermosa".

"Alice", la flamante canción de Lavigne, se escucha al final del film, durante los créditos. La banda de sonido, "Almost Alice", también incluye música de Metro Station, Owl City y Shinedown, entre otros.

"Alice in Wonderland", vale recordar, se estrena a principios de marzo.

Selena Gómez defiende a Taylor Swift

La noche de los premios Grammy tuvo de todo para Taylor Swift: por un lado, fue la gran ganadora de la noche, alzándose con el codiciadísimo galardon al Mejor Disco del año... pero por otro, fue blanco de una avalancha de críticas que apuntaban a la falta de mérito de la todavía incipiente popstar...

Por fortuna, Taylor cuenta con un fuerte apoyo de sus amigos, entre los que cuenta a la estrella teen Selena Gómez: "Lo que más admiro de ella es que siempre ve el lado positivo de las cosas. No tiene tiempo para distraerse con estos comentarios".

Selena tiene un buen punto: lo cierto es que la muchacha está muy ocupada como para fijarse en el qué dirán. Acaba de sacar un nuevo video, actuó en la película "Día de los Enamorados" y recibió con gran alegría dos nominaciones a los Kids Choice Awards.

"Es una persona muy fuerte... Además, ganó cuatro Grammys y eso es increíble", concluye Selena. ¿Tú de qué lado estás? ¿A favor o en contra de Taylor?

La entregs de premios sera el 29 de Abril: esa noche, Nickelodeon emitirá una nueva edición de los Kids Choice Awards para toda América Latina.

Este año, la figura que se destaca entre la lista de nominados es la estrella de "Hannah Montana", Miley Cyrus, candidata a llevarse los premios a Mejor Cantante, Mejor Actriz de TV, Mejor Actriz de Cine y Mejor Canción por su tema "Party in the USA".

Miley compite en las categorías musicales contra nada menos que grandes favoritas como Lady Gaga y Taylor Swift. Entre las categorías también encontramos a Beyoncé, los Jonas Brothers y Zac Efron, entre otros.
